What exactly is REAP North Peru?
International Mission Board Missionaries living in Lima, Peru have conducted research throughout Peru, searching for areas that have very little or no knowledge of Christ. The people living in these areas are known as people groups, because the people living there are distinct from people living in other parts of the country. A people group may encompass several villages, or be concentrated in one area. The people group may have a unique worldview, may dress in a distinctive way, and may speak a heart language other than Spanish. All of these factors and more call for a specialized approach for sharing the gospel. Churches in the US are stepping up to accept the call to share Christ and plant churches among people groups in Peru.
